Course Description

The foundations you need to teach your dog anything, starts here!

Loose Lead Walking and Basic Manners are the must have foundation skills for every dog owner and canine companion.

Our 3 unit course is designed to be user friendly so you can learn at home in the environment where your dog is most comfortable and able to learn effectively.


The 3 units are:

Basic Manners - targeting, on lead recall, sit, drop, stay, introducing markers, leading handling, reward based training and food reduction in training.

Focus Walk - teaches you the techniques required to work on this much desired, yet often illusive skill.

We will introduce you to pre-walk strategies, putting on lead and collar calmly, proofing exercises and a whole lot more.

Casual Walk - teaches you the techniques required to have a stress free walk without expecting your dog to be glued to your side. The walk is for their enjoyment - not yours.

Currently working towards my Cert 4 in Companion Animal Studies.I am a lecturer of Companion Animal Studies at Challenger Institute of Technology.Above all I am proudly owned by 3 beautiful Rottweilers, and an advocate for the breed and responsible dog ownership.
